Join a leading independent technology and services provider as an Installation Technician!Job Overview:
This role involves providing on-site desktop hardware installation services, including unboxing, installing, and configuring devices and peripherals. You'll ensure accurate setup, perform power-on tests, andplete basic automated build processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands‑on technical skills who enjoys structured procedures and on-site work.
1. Location: On-site – 3 Snow Hill Queensway, Birmingham B4 6GA
2. Daily Rate: £ PAYE per hour / £ per hour via umbrella
3. Contract Length: ASAP– 31 Mar 2026
4. Start Date: ASAP
5. Full UK Manual Driver’s license is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
6. Unbox, install, and set up desktop hardware and peripherals
7. Connect power, network, and other relevant cables
8. Perform power-on self-tests and initiate automated system builds
9. Maintain accurate system records, primarily on ServiceNow
10. Follow all procedures, scripts, andpany policies
11. Work a 4‑day week (Tuesday–Friday) with flexibility when required
Key Requirements:
12. Basic technical skills in hardware installation and configuration
13. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
14. Experience maintaining system records (, ServiceNow)
15. Flexibility to work variable shift patterns when needed
16. Reliability and professionalism in on-site customer environments
