Degree Apprentice Civil Engineer – 2026 – Peterborough

Our apprenticeship programme is a great opportunity to study towards a college or university qualification while putting everything you have learnt into action through on-the-job training. You will have the support of mentors who care about your growth, and you will establish a career where you will develop the technical and interpersonal skills to help you succeed and make a lasting impact.
What you'll do:
1. Surveying the site and setting out for the construction operatives.
2. Checking the quality of construction operatives’ work.
3. Producing permits such as permits to excavate, or vegetation clearance permits.
4. Managing daily diary of site activities and attending morning shift briefings.
5. Developing practical understanding of the importance of health and safety and the environmental requirements involved in civil engineering.
What you'll bring to the role:
6. 112 UCAS Tariff points from 3 A-levels, T-Levels, BTECs or equivalent level 3 qualification.
7. 5 GCSEs at Grades 4-9 including Maths and English or their equivalent for us to successfully enrol you on the apprenticeship.
8. Thrive in a collaborative environment where your contributions are valued and celebrated.
9. Dependable team player who actively supports and promotes collective success.
10. Inquisitive and driven by a passion to grow and innovate.
11. You must have lived in the UK in the last 3 years and have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for an apprenticeship. We are not able to proceed with applications that require visa sponsorship.
12. We are not able to proceed with applications from candidates that have already achieved a degree in a similar discipline.
What qualification will you be studying towards?
You will be studying a level 6 qualification in Civil Engineering at Anglia Ruskin University -
