We are working with one of the leading independent facilities management businesses who are looking to recruit a category manager specialising in hard services. The role will drive value by leading the implementation of supplier sourcing performance management strategies that deliver measurable improvements in compliance and overall value. Working closely with the business units and key stakeholders, this individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment between the organisation's needs and procurement objectives.
Job title: Category Manager - Hard FM
Salary: £66,950
Location: London (Hybrid working - occasional travel)
Key Responsibilities
* Accountable for ensuring Hard FM Services supplier performance management is followed
* Act as the expert and main day to day Procurement contact for their assigned area, as is seen as a ‘seasoned professional’ by stakeholders
* Provide leadership in the management and implementation of Hard FM supply contracts
* Ensure full contractual and legal compliance ensuring suppliers perform strictly in line with contractual conditions and legislative requirements
Requirements
* Supplier relationship management and contract management skills and experience with at least 3-5 years demonstrable experience
* Previous experience in an FM/services environment
* Personal credibility with good knowledge and understanding of commercial and operational requirements and able to present these with authority and conviction
* Experience in the development and delivery of strategy and a track record of ensuring that such strategies deliver sustainable compliance and performance benefits
