The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, identifying tax planning opportunities, and providing high-quality advisory services. This role involves supervising junior staff, reviewing work, and contributing to the overall development of the tax department.Key Responsibilities of the Tax Manager:
* Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals and partnerships.
* Review corporate, personal, and partnership tax returns prepared by junior staff.
* Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients across a range of sectors.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and ensure client compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Work closely with audit and accounts teams to provide integrated client solutions.
* Supervise, mentor, and support the development of junior team members.
* Contribute to proposals and business development initiatives.
* Assist with internal training and the development of best practices within the tax team.
The Successful Tax Manager Will Possess:
* Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CTA (or equivalent).
* 2+ years of experience in a UK practice.
* Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
* Experience managing a team and reviewing work.
