NDT Technician Location: Northamptonshire

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented NDT Technician to join a leading high-performance engineering organisation operating within the motorsport and advanced manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Non-Destructive Testing across a range of critical components, ensuring the highest standards of quality and structural integrity are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Non-Destructive Testing in accordance with EN4179/PCN Level 2 standards across multiple techniques.
Carry out Ultrasonic A-Scan inspections (Phased Array experience advantageous).
Conduct Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, and Visual Inspections to verify component integrity.
Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, ensuring all documentation meets industry and company standards.
Support the calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment.
Collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to communicate results and support continuous improvement.
Work efficiently under pressure to meet demanding production and quality targets with minimal supervision.
Key Requirements
Minimum Level 2 NDT Qualification (EN4179 / PCN) across key techniques.
Proven expertise in Ultrasonic A-Scan (Phased Array knowledge beneficial).
Proficiency in Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, and Visual Inspection.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective when working to tight deadlines.
Knowledge of X-Ray and CT Scan techniques is advantageous.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and professional attitude.
Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Experience within Formula One, high-level motorsport, or aerospace industries is highly desirable
