Job Description
We’re hiring a forward-thinking Group Audit Accountant to join our Client’s growing business in a high-impact, standalone role. Equivalent in scope to a Group Accountant, this position offers the opportunity to take real ownership of audit, technical accounting, and group reporting, working directly with the CFO.

The Role
You’ll play a key role across the finance function, including:
* Leading the external audit process and acting as the main point of contact for auditors
* Owning group consolidations and financial reporting across multiple entities and currencies
* Supporting statutory accounts and tax reporting in collaboration with external advisors
* Driving the transition to updated FRS 102 (with future IFRS alignment)
* Strengthening financial controls, processes, and documentation across the group
* Supporting wider finance initiatives including system improvements and potential M&A activity
About You
* Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Strong background in audit and technical accounting (practice or industry)
* Experience in a multi-entity or group environment
* Confident working autonomously with senior stakeholders
* Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a challenging, fast-moving business
