An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Urology team for a registrant to join the Urology Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist Team. This is a perfect development opportunity to work alongside a fantastic and welcoming team. We are seeking an individual who is flexible, forward thinking, hardworking and professional with the ability to remain calm under pressure as well as possessing excellent communication and organizational skills.
You must have the ability to work as part of a wide multi-disciplinary team as well as to work independently. The post holder will hold well developed interpersonal and communication skills and also possess good facilitation and IT skills. You will demonstrate at all times the capacity to embrace change and life-long learning and will foster the desire to continuously develop and improve services, enhancing nursing practice.
As a Trainee Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be trained to undertake advanced practice including non-medical diagnostics such us non-medical cystoscopy procedures, non-video dynamics. A tailor made program of development would be undertaken dependent on skill set and experience. We would expect the successful candidate to be willing to undertake Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice.
