Finance Assistant
The Role
The holder of this role will deliver comprehensive support to the Site Financial Controller and Head of Operations assisting them to further grow and develop the Scunthorpe sites through design and maintenance of a robust financial control environment and timely reporting and analysis of operational reporting including departmental yield and labour reporting.
Key to the success of this role will be the provision of accurate and timely management information upon which the site management team and key business partners can act to maximise the growth and efficiency opportunities that exist within the site. Involvement in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of all related reporting cycles will be a key priority to deliver the objectives. This role will function as key support to the Operations team and departmental managers on a daily basis.
Salary Range: £23, - £27, per year

Key Accountabilities
1. Support site finance controller in daily, weekly and monthly group reporting requirements, incl. preparation of and providing insight into monthly site Continuous Improvement (CI) pack
2. Production and interrogation of departmental management information (daily/weekly reporting of site financial and operational KPIs, departmental yield and labour reports) in support of weekly site management and Sofina Group management reviews
3. Further development of the management reporting process to align departmental targets with site financial targets/objectives through all tiers of operations. This will include generating daily site KPI reporting tracking for prior day completed and current day start up data to support daily site management meetings (Daily Direction Setting)
4. Continuous improvement of finance and operational reporting cycles, including supporting of cost reduction initiatives
5. Design and deliver analysis and reporting of Transport and Coldstore cost analysis
Skills and Experience Required
6. SAP, Anaplan, Hellenic experience preferred/ideal
7. Good educational background, Willingness to progress a professional qualification in Finance.
8. Experience of successfully managing tasks/projects to completion
9. Computer Literate with strong excel and analytical skills.
