Overview
We are working with a long-established communications business that is entering an exciting phase of change and growth. With a strong European presence and a UK team of around 40 people across Sales, Technical, Operations, Finance, and Marketing, the company is now seeking a General Manager to take full ownership of UK operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to make a significant cultural and commercial impact. You’ll be responsible for leading by example, driving performance, and creating an environment where teams can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead UK operations across Sales, Finance, Technical, Marketing, and Operations.
* Coach and develop department heads to build a culture of accountability and performance.
* Drive commercial success through channel and reseller partnerships.
* Deliver on ambitious revenue and EBITDA targets.
* Represent the business with gravitas at executive and customer level.
* Ensure operational efficiency while empowering teams to take ownership.
Must-Have Skills and Experience
* Proven leadership experience in a General Manager, Director, or equivalent senior role.
* Background in channel sales environments, working with resellers and integrators.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to set and deliver strategy.
* Experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams.
* Willingness to work beyond a standard 9–5, particularly during periods of change.
Nice to Have
* Knowledge of the secure communications or technology sector.
* Experience leading teams of 25–150 people.
