Job Description:
Fidarsi is partnering with an established Wealth Manager's HR team to recruit a Training and Competency Manager.
This role involves overseeing the training and competency department, supporting employee development, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key duties include:
* Implementing and overseeing an effective Training & Competency Scheme.
* Providing tools and support for employee role compliance through training.
* Ensuring investment managers have appropriate qualifications for asset classes.
* Managing CPD records and liaising with training bodies for renewals and courses.
* Arranging in-house training, CPD events, and exam sittings.
* Maintaining accurate training and regulatory records in collaboration with HR and Compliance.
* Delivering annual competency assessments for investment managers.
* Conducting regulatory referencing, onboarding, and rescreening checks.
* Supporting annual appraisals and delivering new starter induction programs.
* Managing online training programs and providing management information.
* Training department team development and ad hoc project work.
* Managing SMCR panel appraisals and SMFs processes.
* Organizing and reviewing mandatory training compliance.
* Participating in recruitment and fostering a coaching culture.
* Designing blended learning and leadership programs.
* Implementing talent management and workforce gap analysis.
* Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and maintaining HRIS data.
* Organizing FCA-compliant training and facilitating face-to-face sessions.
Required skills and experience:
* Strong relationship management and influencing skills.
* Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
* Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of FCA regulations (TC, SYSC, COBs, APER, FIT).
* Experience in a similar training/HR role.
