Overview
Franchise Development Representative – Winchester / Basingstoke Territory. We are expanding with a new employed role that mirrors franchisee responsibilities and provides a clear pathway to owning the Winchester/Basingstoke & Thames Valley franchise after 12–18 months.
Salary: £28,000–£32,000 base + approx. £5,000 commission (based on % of sales margin). Benefits include a company van and tools, full training, and a pathway to franchise ownership.
Just Shutters is growing, and this role covers the full Just Shutters service from enquiry to installation.
Responsibilities
* Visiting customers in their homes to present the Just Shutters brand and product range
* Building rapport, identifying customer needs, and confidently closing sales
* Preparing quotations and actively following up to convert opportunities
* Representing the company with professionalism and trustworthiness
* Taking accurate window measurements
* Installing shutters safely and to a high standard (full training provided)
* Using hand tools confidently and working safely on ladders in customer homes
* Entering orders into the company system
* Managing your appointment schedule and sales pipeline
* Carrying out light local marketing activity (with central PPC & social media support)
* Operating a branded Just Shutters van (provided)
What We’re Looking For
Sales & Customer Skills – Essential
* Strong experience in customer-facing roles
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence and close sales
* Comfortable with follow-up activity and pipeline management
Practical Skills
* Good DIY capability and confidence using hand tools
* Ability to install products safely (full training given)
* Comfortable working at height on ladders
General Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently
* Comfortable working in customers’ homes and providing excellent service
