Job Overview
We are a new AI incubator helping UK Start-Ups develop their business by fully exploiting the opportunities presented by the next wave of AI and Machine Learning. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of AI to lead all our artificial intelligence initiatives. Initially and for a period of no more than 2 months, this role will be paid via equity in the incubator,. None of the senior team are taking salaries at this stage.
This pivotal role involves overseeing the development and implementation of AI strategies across our partner companies, ensuring alignment with their organisational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for innovation in the field of artificial intelligence.
This role offers a significant opportunity for wealth creation via equity in the incubator, together with equity and the potential to buy equity in our partner companies.
Duties
* Develop and execute AI strategies in line with business objectives of our partner companies
* Lead a team of AI engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Oversee the design and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing applications and workflows.
* Ensure best practices in software development, application development, and deployment processes are followed.
* Manage relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI technologies, making recommendations for adoption where appropriate.
Skills
* Proficient in programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, and SQL.
* Strong experience with front-end development technologies and frameworks.
* Familiarity with software development methodologies and application development processes.
* Experience of prompt egineering and working with LLM api's.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for deploying AI solutions.
* Experience with database management systems like MySQL and SQL Server.
* Understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and integration techniques.
* Proficient in version control systems including GitHub and SVN.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £70,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
