The Geosciences division within RSK Group Ltd is one of the UK's largest environmental consultancies. This hybrid Environmental Advisor role requires you to work from the office a minimum of 3 days per week while providing environmental advice regarding surface water management and environmental incidents on a wide range of projects.
Responsibilities
* Production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites
* Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans
* Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements for Surface Water Management and associated waste permits/exemptions
* Liaison with regulators including the Environment Agency/National Resources Wales
* Response / management of environmental incidents including fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges, and effluent discharges
* Advice and on‑site training of clients on issues including ecology, contamination and waste management
* Production of quotations/tenders for new projects
* Management of clients and projects
There is a range of opportunities for individuals with between 2 and 10 years minimum experience in the environmental sector.
Qualifications
* Able to deliver projects and work within a multi‑disciplinary consultancy
* Able to work closely and confidently with clients and regulators
* A track record in managing time and resources effectively and within budget
* Full UK driving licence
