We are a
Solar Primary Contractor
seeking experienced Solar PV subcontractors to undertake DC-side installation works on:
* Smaller commercial projects (standalone packages), and
* Larger commercial schemes as part of a wider contractor team.
Projects are located
nationwide.
Scope of works:
* Installation of commercial roof mounting systems (flat, metal sheet & tiled roofs)
* Panel installation in accordance with issued layout drawings
* DC cabling on tray and containment systems
* MC4 termination and crimping
* String installation and testing (Voc, Isc, polarity checks)
* Installation up to DC isolators only
* Provision and management of compliant fall protection systems
All system design, string design, electrical design, commissioning and MCS certification remain with us as Solar Primary Contractor.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2+ years Solar PV installation experience (preferably commercial)
* Experience on flat, industrial metal and tiled roof systems
* 18th Edition (BS 7671)
* Working at Height & fall arrest certification
* ECS Gold Card or equivalent industry-recognised competency card
* Ability to operate under site RAMS and commercial H&S controls
* Own tools, PPE and fall protection systems
* Own transport
* Ability to travel and work nationwide (including providing own accommodation where required)
* Public Liability Insurance (minimum £2m – £5m preferred)
