Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Quantity Surveyor, located in Widnes. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and accurate cost reporting. The role involves working closely with project teams to ensure successful financial and contractual project outcomes, while maintaining budgetary controls and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in Cost Control and Cost Management to ensure efficiency and profitability
* Proficiency in creating and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and providing accurate cost planning services
* Experience with cost reporting to deliver precise financial and project updates
* Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
* Professional membership with a recognized body such as RICS or CIOB is advantageous
* Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying and project management
