Hours: Full-Time - Mon-Fri, 9.00am to 6.00pm (Flexibility required to work weekends, bank holidays and additional hours)

We are looking for an in-house paralegal to provide support to and closely assist the In-House Solicitor. The role involves work across various areas of law including civil litigation, media and entertainment law, immigration law, charity law, intellectual property law, and contract law.
The ideal candidate will work independently and be based in Ilford (East London).
Main Role
To provide cost-effective and efficient support to the legal department and general administrative support to the team.
Key Tasks
* Support legal department with administrative tasks, case management, and team responsibilities.
* Prepare draft documents and forms for review and approval.
* Review files and prepare summary notes.
* Handle specific tasks related to practice areas, including dealing with immigration, HMCTS, HMRC, or Land Registry forms and filings.
* Assist with day-to-day administrative duties and caseload management.
* Maintain client files with attendance notes.
* Manage billing for litigation case matters.
* Conduct legal research and communicate findings clearly.
* Draft, negotiate, and review contracts and legal documents.
* Keep legal files updated with correspondence and documents.
* Provide administrative support such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
* Attend meetings, take notes, and handle telephone enquiries.
* Support data protection and privacy compliance under UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Person Specification
* A first degree in law or postgraduate diploma in law, or a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (FCILEX).
* Minimum 12 months experience as a paralegal.
* Experience with corporate commercial law or contract law.
* Knowledge of civil litigation and court procedures is desirable.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
* Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Enthusiastic team player with a desire to learn and progress.
* Committed to an inclusive workplace culture.
* Computer literate with skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
