Our client, a leading MSP in the IT sector, is seeking a 1st Line Support Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to growth, our client is looking to add a 1st Line Support Engineer to provide a high level of technical support to their broad range of clients.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar IT Support role, providing 1st Line support with potential progression to 2nd Line.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, working 2 days in the office and 3 from home.
Key Responsibilities
* Being the go-to for clients for any technical queries
* Writing and updating user documentation
* Prioritize and escalate tickets to ensure SLAs are met in a timely manner
* Provide high-quality customer service and communication to clients at all times
* Work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
* Maintain communication with the client at all times
Experience
* Understanding of MS 365 Admin
* Basic networking skills including TCP/IP and DNS
* Understanding of SharePoint and Microsoft Servers
* Basic Server administration
* Familiarity with Anti-Virus and Backup Software
