Due to significant growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced Applications / Design Engineer to join their Engineering team. This role bridges design, manufacturing, and customer engagement to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
What's involved for the Applications / Design Engineer
1. Develop detailed technical designs and contract-specific work instructions.
2. Maintain a strong understanding of all engineering systems, processes, and company-specific applications.
3. Collaborate closely with Manufacturing to ensure safe, efficient use of resources and timely delivery.
4. Act as a technical point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Liaise with clerical staff to support procurement, purchasing, and accurate project invoicing.
6. Represent the company at client meetings as required.
