Senior Electrical Engineer
Join Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB) as a Senior Electrical Engineer. You will work on water and wastewater treatment projects across the UK, shaping electrical functions from design through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment such as Motor Control Centres, LV distribution systems, cabling, instrumentation, industrial networks, PLCs and SCADA.
* Produce and review technical specifications and schedules for procurement, and assess supplier tender bids and technical submissions.
* Supervise and mentor graduates and junior engineers.
* Apply and contribute to design standards, with a good knowledge of client and WIMES standards.
* Engage positively with clients, building relationships to help them achieve their aims.
Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Chartered or incorporated member of a professional institution (e.g. ICE, IMechE) or equivalent experience.
* Experience delivering high‑quality outputs in line with design, quality and safety standards.
* Excellent communication skills and a methodical approach to problem solving.
* Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the operational region.
