About the Role
Are you ready to embark on an exciting culinary journey? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant team at Butlin’s Restaurants in Skegness! Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in running our kitchen and leading a dynamic team of up to 15 passionate individuals. Your mission? To ensure our guests leave with smiles on their faces, making them the heart of every operational decision.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
* Resource planning, recruitment, and selection to build the best team for delivering exceptional service.
* Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans focused on continuous improvement.
* Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adherence to cooking standards.
* Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.
* Inspiring your team through training schedules and performance development plans.

About You
We’re seeking individuals with experience in a similar role, but we’re also excited to hear from those ready to take the next step in their culinary career! Here’s what we’re looking for:
* A hardworking and determined individual who thrives on getting things done.
* Energetic and enthusiastic team players who understand the value of enhancing the guest experience.
* A Level 3 Food Safety qualification and confidence in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Strong management skills to control margins, costs, and maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Typical Working Hours: You’ll be working five days over seven, covering 40 hours per week, and you’ll be part of an exciting bonus scheme.
