Overview
Bank MSK Physiotherapist role at Bupa. Ad hoc bank/temporary role to cover absences (sickness and annual leave) and busy periods. This role covers MSK outpatients. You will be an autonomous physiotherapist delivering client-centred, evidence-based assessment and treatment to adults and, very occasionally, older teenagers with varied and often complex MSK needs.
Job location: Cromwell Hospital, London, SW5 0TU. The role is part-time with an hourly rate that is competitive.
Responsibilities
* Be responsible for the physiotherapy management of the patient load assigned, practising as an accountable professional using reflective practice and clinical reasoning to provide individualised treatment programmes.
* Obtain informed, valid consent and involve patients in their own healthcare plan; educate to support ongoing management.
* Provide programmes of care for MSK patients through assessment and implementation of specialist MSK treatments to maximise rehabilitation outcomes.
* Advocate for patients within the multi-disciplinary team.
* Provide information, education and support for patients and carers.
* Comply with confidentiality policies as set out by Cromwell Hospital, HCPC and the CSP.

Key Skills/Qualifications
* Degree in Physiotherapy
* HCPC Registration
* Proven experience and competence in MSK conditions of varying nature; ability to work unsupervised
* Commitment to multi-disciplinary teamwork
* Evidence of CPD
* UK healthcare experience
* Proficient in PC use and relevant software/systems
* Good communication and strong interpersonal skills; effective telephone manner
* Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise work and meet deadlines
* Good timekeeping and flexibility
