About the Role

Are you a Video Producer looking for your next role, working at a midweight level and within a team of other talented creatives?

We’re expanding our in-house video production team, so we’re looking for two videographers who can bring both passion and creative expertise to every project.

Working within our Creative Services team, your role will be to generate, and project manage video content at every level - from initial concept to post-production.

You’ll also be assisting the Creative Services Managers and Senior Video Producer in our strategic campaigns and efforts to grow engagement with the University.

You’ll be responding to client briefs and operating as a creative problem solver, utilising your skills to deliver professional video content across a variety of topics and channels.

The ideal candidates will have already worked as a junior-midweight video producer. Whether you’re looking for your next step up or you want to hone your skills further in this mid-weight role, you’ll relish the prospect of getting hands-on within the field of marketing content creation.

This role entails all aspects of video production, requiring strong skills in both shooting and editing, demonstrated through a strong and diverse portfolio.

Informal Queries

* For informal enquiries, please contact Rich Overton, Creative Services Managers, at Richard.Overton @ warwick.ac.uk .

About You

You will be strongly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (essential) and ideally be familiar with Adobe After Effects. If you’re also comfortable using other Adobe software, that’s a bonus!

On the shooting side, you will have a plethora of experience working with cinema cameras (ideally Sony cameras), capturing professional- level audio, and know how to effectively light up a scene or subject. Ideally, you would also have experience lighting shoots, and using industry-standard equipment, such gimbals and drones.

As a creative, you’ll need to perform in a fast-paced environment, and thrive in a dynamic and diverse team. You’ll utilise strong communication skills, as you frequently liaise with clients and stakeholders, interpret complex briefs, and pitch your ideas with confidence.

As part of a dynamic team, you’ll know how to work effectively alongside other video producers on shoots, while also being confident working independently. We have recently evolved our brand, so it’s a great opportunity for you to apply your creativity to bring the brand to life across all our video content.

For details on the experience and skills required, please refer to the job description attached as a PDF below.
