POSITION INFORMATION
The Part-time Chantecaille Sales Consultant working 4 days a week will be the company's brand ambassador on the John Lewis, Oxford Street counter. The primary responsibilities are to provide outstanding customer service to each customer and to understand individual and team service goals. Other responsibilities include maintaining the store environment and operations and assisting with administrative and housekeeping duties.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PERFORMANCE
· Achieve the targets set by the company as communicated by the Counter manager regarding items per transaction, average sale value, and business mix.
· Deliver the highest level of service to ensure every customer has an excellent experience at the counter.
EVENTS
· Execute events according to guidelines provided by the Counter manager, Account executive, or Head Office.
STOCK
· Assist daily in stock management, stock rotation, and replenishment of hygiene supplies, maintaining appropriate levels throughout the day.
· Keep drawers and storage areas tidy, reporting discrepancies or issues to the Counter manager.
MAINTAIN THE WORK ENVIRONMENT
· Participate in cleaning display units, tools, and testers throughout the day, with thorough cleaning at night to prepare for the next day.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area, cleaning as you go.
· Replace missing, finished, or damaged products and equipment with authorization from the counter manager.
· Ensure proper placement and condition of merchandise on counters, shelves, and stock areas.
· Report store maintenance, health and safety issues, hazards, or accidents to management.
TEAMWORK
· Undertake specific tasks assigned by the Counter Manager, including administrative paperwork and services.
· Collaborate with team members and the Counter manager to ensure efficient store operations.
· Provide excellent internal customer service and foster good working relationships with colleagues.
ADMINISTRATION
· Assist with inventory counts.
· Complete all administrative tasks accurately, legibly, and on time.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
· Retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused, beauty environment.
· Advanced knowledge of beauty products.
· Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
· Ability to work well independently and within a team.
· Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting, demonstrating adaptability.
· Flexible working hours including early and late shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
· Previous experience in luxury beauty and department stores is preferred but not essential.
· Beauty Therapy Level 3 qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
