We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified A-Level Lecturer in Law to join our team on a part-time (0.4), fixed-term basis months). Central Saint Michael's, part of Sandwell College, has a strong reputation for excellent results and outstanding student support. Our Law Department offers both A Level Law and the Certificate in Applied Law, providing students with a solid foundation in areas such as criminal law, torts, and civil processes.

As a valued member of our academic team, you will:
* Deliver engaging and effective teaching across our law curriculum.
* Support and motivate students to develop their understanding of legal principles.
* Foster critical thinking skills and prepare learners for future success as lawyers, policymakers, or professionals in related fields.
* Deliver tutorial sessions to an AS and A2 tutor group supporting learners with their personal development.

Teaching Qualifications & Salary Banding
To be eligible for our Qualified Lecturer salary banding (£31,837 - £48,160), you must hold one of the following teaching qualifications:
Accepted Qualifications:
DTTLS (Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
Certificate in Education
PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)
DET (Diploma in Education and Training)
DiT (Diploma in Teaching) – if for a vocational subject
If you do not hold one of the above qualifications, you will fall into our Unqualified Lecturer salary banding (£26,661 - £29,998).
Not Accepted as Stand Alone Qualifications:
PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
CTLLS (Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults)
