IT Service Desk Technician - Gloucester (on site and must be able to drive) - 6-Month Contract - 180-200/day inside IR35
Job Overview
Seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Technician for a public sector organisation near Gloucester. You will support internal users with 1st & 2nd line technical issues across hardware, software, and services. The role involves working in an ITIL environment, providing face-to-face, remote, and occasional walk-in support.
Requirements
* Must have NPPV3, SC, or DV Clearance (highly desirable)
* Ability to drive and be on-site
Key Responsibilities
1. Resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, networks, and applications.
2. Provide support via phone, self-service portal, email, and in-person.
3. Support Microsoft Office 2016/365, Windows 10/11, Outlook, SharePoint, and other Microsoft tools.
4. Experience with Intune or SCCM.
5. Experience with Active Directory.
6. Log and manage tickets in the ITSM system.
7. Work with escalation points to meet service levels.
8. Provide on-site support at user desks or remote offices as needed.
9. Maintain accurate asset and configuration records.
10. Understand ITIL processes and use ITSM tools effectively.
11. Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
