Job responsibilities Please see attached Job description for full details To be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the directorate, ensuring that resources are deployed effectively and efficiently across both hospital sites. To provide support to the Clinical Director in a wide range of operational and business activities. To support the Clinical Director in developing and delivering Directorate objectives, goals, strategies and measures in accordance with the parameters set by the Trusts Executive. To ensure that key directorate performance targets for activity, expenditure, waiting times, waiting lists, complaints and other quality measures are met. To deputise for the Clinical Director as appropriate. To work in partnership with key managers/staff within and out with the Directorate to ensure that quality patient services are provided. To work with the Clinical Director to explore the potential of forming strategic alliances with cutting edge organisations and providers, both locally and nationally. To work with the Clinical Director to develop and deliver patient services that builds on the excellent reputation of the Trust. To innovate and develop new services that enhance the patient experience and delivers value for the Trust.
