Job Description:
We are recruiting a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Newton Aycliffe. This is a hands-on role requiring the use of hand tools and a strong attention to detail, working as part of a production team.
Key Responsibilities
* Using hand tools to assemble and install components
* Installing air ducts, windows, and damp proofing systems
* Fitting cable trays, bolts, and fixings
* Working to quality standards
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements:
* Previous experience using hand tools (essential)
* Backgrounds such as automotive manufacturing, kitchen fitting, shop fitting, or similar installation/assembly roles are highly desirable
* Ability to work accurately and follow instructions
* Strong work ethic and reliability
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm
Pay Rate:
£12.96 per hour
