GP Programme Directors are responsible for providing education in a safe environment for doctors wanting to become GPs. This involves planning, facilitating, and evaluating the learning process. Support will be available from other Programme Directors.
An opportunity for a GP Training Programme Director has become available at the UCLH Training Programme, with a view to starting as soon as possible, most probably from October 2025.

The posts will be for 2 sessions a week (8 hours per week).
The role of GP Training Programme Director is to work with and support the Head of School in leading the delivery of a wide range of functions, aligned with the NHS England mandate.
The role includes, among other responsibilities, overseeing the GP School programme management and advising the Head of School on:
* Specialty-specific matters and trainee/trainer concerns.
* Recruitment to training posts and programmes.
To utilize educational resources to support learners within programmes to reach their full potential.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend at least 40% of their time working in person.
