Job summary
The North West Ambulance Service is looking for an Administrator to join them as the main point of contact for the Estates Team.

Applicants will need to be able to work in a fast paced environment, able to show initiative and prioritise their own workload as well as being a strong administrator familiar with using multiple software applications.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will primarily deliver a professional and proactive helpdesk service to the Trust together with delivering effective admin support to the wider Estates management team.
The team is looking for applicants who effectively communicate; face to face, by phone and in writing with a wide range of people including staff and external stakeholders such as partner organisations and sub-contractors.
Applicants will need to be able to work in a fast paced environment, able to show initiative and prioritise their own workload as well as being a strong administrator familiar with using multiple software applications.
Experience of using a Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system would be an advantage.

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.
Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.
Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Experience and work achievements
Essential
1. Educated to a minimum of GCSE level in 5 subjects including literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
2. NVQ 3 in Business Administration or IM&T or equivalent experience
3. Evidence of continual professional development
Desirable
4. European Computer Driving License or equivalent.
Skills and abilities
Essential
5. Minimum of 1 years experience of working within an Administration capacity
6. Excellent customer care skills
7. Knowledge of full range of office procedures, software programmes acquired through NVQ III in Business Administration and ECDL including advanced keyboard skills and Microsoft Office
8. Experience of minute taking
9. Possess a full driving licence

10. Experience of working within a helpdesk/customer service environment.
11. Knowledge of a Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system
