About The Role As L&D Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering an engaging and impactful training programmes that support the development of our employees’ skills and capabilities. Your work will be central to fostering a learning culture within the company and ensuring that training initiatives aligned with the business goals. While the role operates from Monday to Friday dayshift, occasionally, you may be asked to work other shifts, either night shifts or weekends. Flexibility will be required to support the business, for example to support key projects or overtime during peak periods. What will the role involve? Delivering Training Programmes: Design and deliver high-quality training sessions, workshops, and courses. Tailor content to meet the specific needs of employees across different departments, using various learning methods such as classroom training, e-learning, and blended learning approaches. Training Needs Assessment: Support the identification of training requirements by consulting with department heads and HR. Help assess skill gaps and ensure that training initiatives are aligned with the needs of the business. Training Delivery: Lead and facilitate engaging training sessions that cater to a wide range of learning styles. Provide both in-person and virtual training, ensuring that all training content is relevant, interactive, and impactful. Learning Materials Development: Develop and customise training materials, manuals, and e-learning content to ensure they are effective and accessible for all learners. Learning Programme Implementation: Coordinate the scheduling, coordination, and communication of training sessions, ensuring smooth delivery. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective programme execution. Evaluation and Feedback: Collect feedback from training participants and evaluate the effectiveness of each programme. Analyse feedback and performance data to continuously improve training initiatives. Promote Continuous Learning: Encourage employees to participate in ongoing learning opportunities and support the promotion of a learning culture within the organisation. Support Career Development: Assist in identifying potential career development pathways for employees and help create tailored training interventions to support their growth and development. Compliance and Mandatory Training: Ensure compliance with all mandatory training requirements, delivering relevant content and ensuring colleagues meet necessary regulations and standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with department heads, managers, and other key stakeholders to understand training needs and ensure alignment with business goals. Technology Utilisation: Embrace and use learning technologies, such as ‘Learning Management Systems’ (LMS), to deliver and track training. Help improve accessibility and the overall learning experience using digital tools.
