Projects/PMO Coordinator
Location: Office-based role, Powerstar Sheffield S35 1QP

We’re looking for a Projects PMO/Coordinator to join our dynamic team. You’ll be at the heart of project delivery, helping us roll out innovative, sustainable energy solutions across the UK and beyond.
As the Projects PMO/Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that Powerstar’s project processes and procedures are appropriate, effective, and consistently followed. You will maintain a high-level plan for reviewing these processes on a regular basis, adapting or developing them as required. In addition to acting as a subject matter expert for project processes, you will also support the delivery of smaller projects — including coordinating unit deliveries and commissioning dates — ensuring all deliverables are achieved on time and to the required standard.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Projects
1. Support the Head of Projects and project management team with administrative and operational tasks.
2. Maintain and update project documentation, plans, registers, and reports.
3. Flag any issues highlighted in the project reporting as well as monitor Engineering tasks timelines.
4. Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and key milestones, flagging delays or risks to the Head of Projects.
5. Co-ordinate and schedule project meetings, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
6. Assist in preparing dashboards, status reports, and presentations.
7. Ensure adherence to PMO processes, templates, and standards across all projects.
8. Track project budgets and expenditures and assist with resource allocation tracking.
9. Provide logistical and administrative support for project audits and reviews.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO tools, templates, and procedures.
Person Specification:
Qualifications
Essential:
1. Formal Project Management Qualification
2. UK driving license
3. Able to use MS Project
Experience
Essential:
1. Experience in using Project Management tools
2. Demonstrable experience of delivering Projects end to end
Competencies

1. Able to work independently.
2. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
3. Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
4. Strong organisational skills to manage service schedules and documentation.
5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 package.

1. Flexibility to travel and work on-site as needed, which may include occasional oversees work.
