* We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager, ideally based in or within easy reach of London, to lead growth for our high-end US and Oxbridge education consulting services across the UK.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the UK market through proactive outreach, relationship building, and full-cycle consultative sales. You will identify and engage prospective families, schools, and partners, lead them through the decision-making process, and convert qualified prospects into long-term clients.
* You will be expected to independently generate and nurture new business opportunities via school visits, events, referrals, and targeted networking, while also leveraging inbound and marketing-generated leads. Working closely with the founder and wider team, you will develop and execute a structured sales plan, maintain a strong pipeline, and ensure a high-quality client experience from first contact through to handover to the counseling team.
* The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consultative sales, with a proven track record of generating new business and managing high-value, relationship-driven sales cycles. Experience selling premium professional or advisory services (such as education consulting or wealth management) to affluent families or high-net-worth clients will be highly valued. You must possess strong analytical abilities to understand complex family needs, assess student profiles, and shape tailored education pathways that support long-term outcomes. Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with the confidence to build trust with parents, students, and school stakeholders across the UK.
* A degree in Business, Education, Finance, or a related field is preferred, with additional training or certification in sales or client advisory considered an asset. You should be self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment where much of the lead generation is proactive and relationship-based. Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven decision-making is advantageous.
