Security Retail Operations Manager

Mitie are currently looking to recruit a Security Retail Operations Manager to oversee the Avonmouth region and business plan ensuring the division is delivering to agreed objectives and targets. The Operations Manager will assist with day‑to‑day operational running of the branch through effective management of staff and customers, working closely with the Regional Management Team to provide excellent customer service, employee satisfaction and ensure all business‑related tasks are completed in a timely fashion and support regional operational growth plans.
Responsibilities
* Ensure employee welfare checks are completed.
* Help complete monthly branch‑based business reports.
* Recruit, motivate and train all employees operating out of the branch, ensuring correct manning and optimal resource profiles.
* Manage customer requirements through provision of visit reports where required.
* Conduct and monitor staff appraisals of direct reports, set clear objectives, support and develop all direct reports and ensure appropriate succession plans are in place.
* Build, maintain and manage positive relationships.
* Adhere to client KPIs.
* Act as Duty Manager for the manned guarding business in the branch on a rota basis with other Operational Managers.
Qualifications and Experience
* Full clean driving licence.
* Front line SIA licence.
* At least 2 years security industry experience.
* Financially aware.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Proven experience in problem solving.
