Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in the Greater Bristol Area, United Kingdom. The Coordinator of Volunteers will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to support the charity's operations. The role includes maintaining strong relationships with volunteers, planning and coordinating volunteer activities, conducting outreach to the community, and ensuring the volunteer program aligns with the organization's mission and goals. The Coordinator will also develop effective strategies to enhance the volunteer experience and retain active engagement.
Qualifications
* Proven skills in Volunteer Management, including recruitment, training, and retention
* Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to foster positive relationships with volunteers and the community
* Experience with Community Outreach to engage and build connections with diverse groups
* Understanding of charity operations and a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and disadvantages
* Organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage multiple volunteers and activities
* Familiarity with the Greater Bristol Area and local community is a plus
