Salary
Base pay range: up to £43,000 per annum OTE.
Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in day‑to‑day kitchen operations.
* Manage prep, service and organisation across all kitchen sections.
* Oversee food quality, flavour and presentation to brand standards.
* Train, develop and mentor chefs at all levels.
* Support menu development and seasonal innovation.
* Manage stock control, ordering and GP targets.
* Ensure highest standards of hygiene, food safety and compliance.
* Step up to run the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef in a quality‑driven kitchen.
* Exceptional cooking ability and leadership skills.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Financial awareness with experience in stock, cost, and labour management.
* A calm, professional presence under pressure.
* Passion for hospitality, food and leading teams with purpose.
