We are seeking an experienced Vulnerability & Threat Subject Matter Expert to lead and energise operational vulnerability management within a large enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on contract role where you will act as the technical authority for vulnerability and threat prioritisation, driving day-to-day operations while embedding a proactive, threat-led approach to risk reduction.
Responsibilities
* Lead daily operational activity across the vulnerability analyst team
* Ensure scans, reporting, and triage activities are executed effectively
* Provide expert guidance on vulnerability tooling (e.g. Tenable)
* Contextualise vulnerability data with current threat intelligence
* Drive threat-led prioritisation of remediation activities
* Work closely with IT resolver groups to accelerate patching
* Mentor and support analysts, improving quality and accountability
* Support programme and process improvement initiatives
* Embed a proactive, high-performance operational culture
Skills & Experience
* Extensive hands-on experience in vulnerability management
* Strong understanding of threat intelligence and exploitation trends
* Deep knowledge of enterprise vulnerability tooling (e.g. Tenable)
* Experience guiding IT teams on remediation and patching strategy
* Proven ability to mentor analysts and elevate team capability
* Strong communication skills across technical and operational teams
* Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
