ReRoot Cyber is seeking highly skilled and forward-thinking penetration testers to join one of the UK’s most respected testing teams for their Scotland division.
This is an independent, privately owned testing consultancy led by industry-recognised names who are hackers at heart.
This team is led by an active penetration tester who understands the challenges of day-to-day penetration testing operations. As a result, engagements are centered around making your responsibilities as easy as possible, with a focus on value-added testing.
They are open to 2+1’s and public sector engagements, but that’s not their main focus.
Most of your time will be spent on advanced testing and large-scale engagements, providing opportunities to collaborate with engineers, developers, and blue teamers.
If you enjoy bringing ideas to life, creating bespoke tools, and adding real value to clients, then this is the team for you.
This is a home-based position with very limited travel and public sector work.
Full right to work in the UK is required
Ideally, you will:
* Hold active CHECK Team Member Status
* Have experience creating bespoke tools and scripts
* Possess strong infrastructure and networking knowledge
* Have a desire to continually learn about new technologies’ security
* Be enthusiastic about solving problems and thinking outside the box
While primarily a CHECK penetration testing provider, the company is increasingly focusing on commercial engagements in areas such as Cloud, OT, Red & Purple Teaming.
