<div><h3>About the Role</h3><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Endoscopy Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital. We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who have a genuine interest in Endoscopy and Gastroenterology and want to support us to develop our service.</p><p>You will be supported by our dedicated Clinical Educator to become competent in assisting with a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.</p><p>If you are enthusiastic, motivated and keen to learn then this is a perfect opportunity to extend your skills and join our team.</p><p>Later on this year we will be moving into our new purpose‑built Endoscopy Unit with brand new equipment so it couldnt be a better time to join our friendly and hard‑working team.</p><h3>Procedures & Equipment</h3><p>With access to 4 procedure rooms including a fluoroscopy (x‑ray) room, our procedures are varied and diverse and include diagnostics, therapeutics and surveillance.</p><ul><li>Gastroscopy</li><li>Flexible sigmoidoscopy</li><li>Colonoscopy</li><li>PEG insertion</li><li>ERCP/Spyglass</li><li>EUS/FNA</li><li>Double Balloon Enteroscopy (DBE)</li><li>BRAVO</li></ul><p>Once we move to our new unit there will be a further procedure room.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p>To succeed, youll need to be committed to delivering high quality, patient‑focused care with pride and respect, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development.</p><p>With recent acute NHS experience as a must, well train you in our endoscopy services and along the way, youll be supported by our in‑house endoscopy educator with access to some of most sought‑after bespoke courses to progress your knowledge and experience in this field.</p><h3>About MFT</h3><p>Join Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) and become part of a 30,000 plus strong team, delivering exceptional care to over 1 million people every year.
