Position Role: The RAWO is responsible to the RAO and Adjt for routine in-barracks administration and is to exercise functional management of the RAO and provide C2 Staff Support to Bn HQ. Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed here are the ones to be inserted on to JPA and will appear in the Appraisal for this post. 1. Effective day to day management of Bn HQ HR Admin Staff and ensuring that administrative support is allocated to meet the unit’s requirements.2. Providing technical advice and direction to sub-unit Personnel Admin Staff. 3. The implementation of administrative policy as directed by D Pers Admin, DM(A) and other MOD departments, as directed by the RAO. 4. Ensuring that Policy process and procedure pertaining to G1 are correctly applied. 5. Ensuring that unit administrative procedures are implemented and managed. 6. Adhere to and correctly apply the following rules and regulations. 7. Assist in the planning and execution of AGC (SPS) Special to Arm Trg. 8. Carry out other duties as directed by the chain of command. Normal working Environment: Fulfilling a full range of duties based in one location, but with limited liability for role-related compulsory separated service in the UK or overseas (including operational theatres) for up to 35 days with no single period of separated service to last in excess of 21 days. In addition, the Reservist will have liability for compulsory separated service to complete mandated training courses necessary for the current post or future progression which does not contribute to the 35 days. There are no limits on voluntary Separated Service. They may be mobilised but cannot respond to a voluntary trawl.
