Working pattern: 3 evenings per week (4:00pm - 10:00pm)

About Young Persons Sanctuary
Our Sanctuary offers a safe, welcoming environment outside of school hours for young people aged 14-18 in mental distress or crisis.
About The Role
The Youth Mental Health Worker will assess needs and provide one-to-one support to help young people improve their mental health and understand available services. The role is part of a team including other Youth Mental Health Workers, a Manager, and volunteers.
Service Delivery
* Deliver crisis-focused 1:1s supporting young people experiencing mental health crises in line with service and contract requirements.
* Assess needs and suitability for services, undertaking 1:1 sessions.
* Maintain an effective volunteer workforce following HR policies.
* Handle cash, health and safety, and data collection responsibilities as directed.
* Attend mandatory reflective practice sessions every six weeks.
