Job Title: Senior Cash and Liquidity AccountantLocation: Glascoed. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular roleSalary: Circa £47,000 dependent upon skills and experienceWhat you’ll be doing:Scheduling and supervising daily, weekly and monthly payment runs across a number of payment routes (SWIFT, BACS, Wire Transfer, etc …), ensuring that payment runs are made on timeBeing responsible for the RPA (Robotic Process Automation) processes used for payment run generationFlagging failed payments and tasking team members to investigate the reasons for failure before resubmissionSupervising the posting of Daily Cash transactions across a number of bank accountsFlagging failed transactions and/or RPA (Robotic Process Automation) transactions and tasking team members to investigate the reasons for failure before resubmission.Presenting DSUMs (Daily Stand-up Meetings) regularly to ensure that all tasks are covered off within the team and that all targets will be metAct as a point of contact for external stakeholders, offering advice on payments and cash postings and resolving queries or problems as they ariseAudit support (Internal/External), Document record management, authorising payments and acting as a bank account signatory, supporting process automation initiatives and identify areas for continuous improvementYour skills and experiences:EssentialPart-Qualified Accountant (QBE will be considered if experience aligns with the role )High degree of numeracyIntermediate to advanced level Excel skillsExperience with various Accounting Systems & ERPs (SAP/Oracle/LN…etc)DesirableExperience of working in a customer service excellence environmentExtensive IT/Systems experience with a will to learn moreAbility to line manage and support other members of the teamBenefits:As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.The Cash and Liquidity team:The successful candidate will work as part of the Cash & Liquidity Team to provide a first class service to all stakeholders. As such, they may be required to assist with the delivery of a range of treasury accounting activities.
