Management Information Co-ordinator


Thomas Alleynes High School


Grade 6, (SCP 9-15) £27,254 – 30,024 per annum (pro rata)


Actual Salary £24,147 - £26,602 per annum


37 hours per week, term time only plus 10 days (40 work weeks)


Permanent contract starting 01/09/2026

We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented MIS Coordinator to support the effective management, integrity, and reporting of school data. This is a key role within the school, ensuring that accurate and timely information is available to support decision‑making, statutory requirements, and student progress. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to using systems such as Arbor and Sisra, alongside excellent Excel skills to analyse, manage, and present data effectively.


Key Responsibilities

* Produce accurate and timely reports for staff, leadership, and external agencies.
* Maintain the integrity and accuracy of all student data and records.
* Support data analysis for SLT, governors, and school improvement processes.
* Manage student reporting and progress tracking systems.
* Oversee the school’s MIS database, including pupil records, timetables, and assessments.
* Support the creation and maintenance of staff and student timetables.
* Manage admissions, transitions, and student record transfers.
* Maintain up-to-date student information, including enrolment and leavers.
* Coordinate end‑of‑year processes and annual data collections.
* Provide support and guidance to staff on MIS use and troubleshoot issues.


About You

* Strong organisational and data management skills.
* Experience with MIS systems (e.g., SIMS) desirable.
* Excellent IT, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
