Head of UK Brand Marketing (Fixed‑Term Contract)
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne (hybrid, London optional)
Contract: 13‑month Fixed‑Term Contract
About the role: An exciting opportunity within Mayborn Group Limited for a Head of UK Brand Marketing to cover maternity leave and continue driving momentum on TOMMEE TIPPEE. As a key member of the marketing leadership team, you will report directly to the UK & EU Head of Regional Marketing and shape and execute the overall marketing strategy for the UK market.
Responsibilities:
* Develop regional marketing strategy & campaign plans from Global Brand & Consumer strategy & playbooks.
* Use deep knowledge of regional nuances (retailers, consumers & competitors) to adjust and strengthen marketing plans.
* Define and agree focus priorities and spend between categories with key stakeholders.
* Aggregate the full marketing calendar, ensuring synchronicity with shopper marketing & promotional plans.
* Manage marketing agencies (PR, social & digital) to KPIs via regular cadence of all agency meetings.
* Ensure best‑in‑class execution of UK brand campaigns & initiatives across all digital media elements (paid media, influencers, organic social, VOD, PR, experiential, sampling, partnerships & awards).
* Supervise performance of the UK Marketing Manager and indirect marketing team.
* Collaborate with senior regional and global peers to enhance ways of working.
* Lead regional brand health tracking, analysis and subsequent course correction.
* Determine appropriate ROI metrics for key activation program elements.
* Full end‑to‑end A&P responsibility.
Qualifications & skills you’ll need:
* Proven experience in brand marketing, developing & executing marketing plans.
* Self‑starter with a strong ‘can‑do’ bias for action.
* Strategic and analytical thinking – interpret numbers and data into actionable insights.
* Results‑driven, unlocking limitless opportunities.
* Consumer‑focused, understands regional nuances while driving global strategy.
* Comfortable working under pressure, reactive & flexible in a fast‑paced environment.
* Creative with an eye for detail; knows great content.
* Passionate about building a brand, experience in UK FMCG market.
* Excellent communication & influencing skills.
