Step into this technically-focused role, and join our client in supporting the delivery of consistent, high-quality AML and CDD outcomes! This position contributes to both regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Lead operational delivery of CDD and AML activities within the first line of defence.
* Act as a subject matter expert on AML/CFT/CPF matters, including complex PEP and high-risk cases.
* Provide technical guidance on client risk assessments, enhanced due diligence, and jurisdictional nuances.
* Support onboarding, periodic reviews, and trigger-event checks in line with GFSC and internal standards.
* Identify, remediate, and escalate data deficiencies, systemic issues, and non-compliance trends.
* Deliver AML training and accreditation for operational teams across jurisdictions.
* Produce accurate management information, tracking progress against regulatory deadlines.
* Support AML-related projects, system testing, and procedural enhancements.
* Collaborate closely with Compliance, Operations, MLRO, and regional teams to ensure consistent AML delivery.
* Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal AML policies and procedures.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in financial services or insurance, with strong practical knowledge of AML/CFT/CPF requirements and client risk assessments. An ICA Advanced Certificate or Diploma in AML is required, alongside excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Confidence managing high volumes of complex work and strong Microsoft 365 proficiency are essential.
