Job Description:

The Role

* To act as a member of the care team under the supervision of registered NMAHP Practitioner.
* To assist patients to achieve their care and rehabilitation goals.
* Provide support and evidence based care by assisting the planning, implementing, delivery and evaluation of care
* Undertake baseline assessments within clearly defined parameters for the identified area of care delivery.
* Use specialist technical and practical skills to deliver flexible, person centred safe and effective care

What we'll need you to bring

* Formal qualification at HNC Level or equivalent level of experience in a health / education / social care environment plus short specialist courses relevant to specific clinical area.
* Awareness of health legislation relevant to the clinical area.
* Knowledge of the clinical speciality/area process, techniques and / or activities relevant to client group.
* Ability to apply a range of technical and practical skills.
* Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Time management, planning and organisational skills.
* Working knowledge of basic information technology.
* Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
* Ability to learn and develop new skills and maintain a record of learning.
* Full driving license holder

This role will be based in ICST team within Cambuslang Clinic
