Additionally, we strive to build a sustainable economy through the promotion of a circular economy, robust business support, workforce skill development, sustainable town initiatives, and the preservation of natural capital.About the roleForest of Dean District Council is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Estates Officer to join our Property and Assets team. In this key role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a diverse portfolio of Council properties, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with all relevant legislation. From lease administration and property inspections to managing tenant relationships and overseeing maintenance, you'll help deliver efficient estate management in line with our asset management strategy.You'll play a vital role in negotiating lease and licence terms, coordinating property transactions, and liaising with legal and professional services.

The role also involves supporting income recovery, ensuring statutory compliance (including EPCs and health and safety), and maintaining accurate property records.
