About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Primary, Secondary, and SEN settings. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates considering a future career in teaching, psychology, youth work, or education.
Responsibilities
* Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom
* Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
* Helping deliver engaging activities set by teachers
* Assisting with behaviour management and positive reinforcement
* Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils
* Helping create an inclusive and safe learning environment
* Providing additional support to pupils with SEN where needed
* Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
Requirements
* A degree in any subject
* A passion for education and supporting young people
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence working with children and young people
* A positive, proactive, and resilient attitude
* Experience with children (schools, tutoring, coaching, volunteering, etc.) is desirable
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
