Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with Express Engineering, a leading Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer based in the North East, to support with their search for an experienced Quality Engineer.
Key Duties:
* Conducting thorough root cause analysis and development of corrective actions for all non-conforming parts.
* Supporting customer related quality issues, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution.
* Analysis of quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement, using statistical methods and quality tools.
* Providing training to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of quality.
* Maintaining accurate records of quality issues, corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
* Measuring and reporting quality performance.
* Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
* Performing internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements:
* Be proficient at reading & interpreting engineering drawings & specifications.
* Have a strong understanding of machining & welding processes.
* Familiar with and have worked with ISO9001/45001.
* Have an ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis and develop robust corrective actions.
* Have the expertise to identify problems and implement solutions that improve systems, processes and products in line with quality and regulatory requirements.
* Possess strong IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications.
* Have the capability to manage multiple improvement initiatives and quality projects simultaneously.
* Be able to train & mentor staff on quality standards and best practices.
* Be familiar with conducting internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
* Possess strong communication, report-writing and presentation skills.
* Hold a full driving licence.
The Package:
* £40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
* Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-4:30PM, Friday 7:30AM-1:30PM.
