Product Manager – Operational Innovation - Supply Chain, London
Windward is a maritime AI leader helping governments and enterprises navigate risk, compliance, and geopolitical uncertainty across global trade. Our platform transforms massive unstructured datasets into real-time, actionable insights. We enable confident, data-driven decisions, from intercepting dark fleet tankers to predicting supply chain disruptions.
We are looking for a Product Manager with a passion for early-stage product exploration and a strong foundation in logistics or supply chain operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys discovering customer pain points, validating new ideas quickly, and translating opportunities into impact—especially with a focus on how GenAI can transform container logistics.
You will report to Windward's Supply Chain Director of Product, work closely with customers and the sales team to identify operational inefficiencies, and explore how GenAI can address them. You’ll also collaborate with other product managers to shape the vision, prioritize initiatives, and ensure consistent execution across the organization.
This is a high-impact role with significant influence on Windward’s strategic direction in generative AI.
What will you do?
* Lead product discovery for GenAI-driven innovation in container logistics, identifying use cases with potential for operational transformation.
* Partner with customers, sales, and domain experts to uncover inefficiencies in workflows suitable for GenAI solutions.
* Conduct market research and interviews to validate ideas, analyze industry trends, and assess competitive solutions in logistics and supply chain domains.
* Design and execute rapid experiments to test hypotheses, leveraging prototypes and zero-to-one thinking.
* Translate learnings into early-stage product specifications and shape Windward’s GenAI roadmap.
Who are you?
* 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or data-driven platforms.
* Experience with logistics, supply chain, or container shipping, either directly or through product development for these areas.
* Proven success in early-stage product discovery, from zero to one, including user research and opportunity sizing.
* Willingness to travel up to 50%.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage with customers and sales teams, lead discussions, and align stakeholders.
* A collaborative approach, experienced in working within product teams and co-owning initiatives.
* Curiosity and working knowledge of generative AI, with a desire to explore real-world applications.
* Highly analytical, comfortable working in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
* Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus.
