About the Role
and our Ideal Candidate
You will be undertaking either the AAT Accounts Finance Assistant level 2 or AAT Assistant Accountant level 3 Apprenticeship programme via our training provider (depending on your existing qualifications). Details of both programmes and what you would be studying are provided as attachments.
When you're not studying you will provide a range of support across the Business Partnering functions. This will include supporting budget monitoring, financial processing and creating management information. More detail can be found in the attached role profile.
About you
As an entry level role, there are no experience requirements. We are instead looking for someone with the talent and commitment to excel into the future. This can be the start of a career in local government finance, providing a service that makes a difference to the people that live or work in the local area.
Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills, an ability to work in a team, clear communication and alignment with our values.
You must be eligible to undertake an apprenticeship and in order to verify this we will share your details with our training provider.
